President Ram Chandra Paudel has issued the Ordinance related to the Constitutional Council (Functions, Duties, Powers, and Procedures) following a second recommendation from the government. The President, who had previously returned the ordinance for reconsideration, was constitutionally compelled to issue it after the cabinet resubmitted the same draft without any changes on Monday.
